Sam Borthwick (she/her) is a performer, teacher, and director, otherwise known as a manic forest maiden with a power belt. She grew up in Redwood City, CA making flower crowns and being driven up and down the peninsula in her dad’s ‘69 Dart. Growing up as an only child, she had too much time on her hands and loved to make greeting cards, watch Disney movies, and collect grocery store coupons.

Sam has a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Musical Theatre, as well as a valid California teaching credential and her Master’s in Education from Chapman University. She hopes to work with young actors and inspire them the way her home, San Carlos Children’s Theater, inspired her.

When she is not performing or directing, Sam is social swing dancing and Disneybounding (ask her about it, she will talk your ear off).
